agoodreed went out with a friend for coffee the other day.
Why coffee?
1) Not quite late enough for adult beverages.
2) It is still cold as hell.
3) “Going for coffee” is a mature kind of a thing to do.
It has been scientifically proven that IQ is linearly related to the amount of money you spend on coffee. For example, agr orders a drip, sidles on up to the supplement-station, and upgrades the hell out of our bare bones beverage with cream, sugar, honey, paprika, and whatever else we can get our …

Some of us are wil-n-out in Whistler, and some of us are not. Some of us are taking care of business. Good thing we have freak snow falling in the city to remind us that we are not snowboarding, drinking real beer and throwing bros hi-fives.
Another thing some of us are missing out on is the crowning of the If Ullr Was A Girl champion, which happened this weekend at the Telus Festival in Whistler, B.C.
We will spare you the details of the comp, but the skinny of …

So, agr was supposed to be come home a couple of days ago…
But, for some reason, we are still in Utah. Why we are still here will remain a mystery, but rest assured we are keeping damn busy.
Here’s a sneak peak of what we are up to in the Beehive State:
-Recruiting wives fool…
-Waiting for the winner of the Ski Utah and Winter at Westminster “Invent A New Word For Skiing and Snowboarding Because ‘Riding’ Isn’t Good Enough” to show up. The competition on addictionary.org has a first prize …

Erin go bragh! Despite the confusion about when St. Patrick’s Day actually is, agr wore some green on Monday. Some links to remind you just how glorious st patty’s day can be.
Just so you know…
An ethnic context… (via Stuff White People Like)
If you don’t have any green to wear… (via Highsnobiety)
A joke: “Paddy was driving down the street in a sweat because he had an important meeting and couldn’t find a parking place. Looking up to heaven he said, ‘Lord take pity on me. If you …

Somehow, agr is still in Utah, and this past weekend we went up to Park City for the World Superpipe Championship. We were planning on sharing a comprehensive report with all you ‘goodreed faithful, but there were a lot of distractions and we ended up not paying attention to the snowboarding part of the circus. We know this is a departure from the norm of stellar reporting that agr is known for, but seriously, there was a lot going on.
Namely:
celebrities;
fashion show;
bro-down session;
free stuff;
agr’s good friend Steph can be blamed …

Backcountry Snowcats invites you to think up a name for one of their new lines and if selected you will receive a weekend of ripping your newly christened line. The “Name That Line” contest will end at 12:00pm (PST) March 10, 2008.
agoodreed wasn’t going to tell you about this one, we were hoping to horde the loot ourselves. But the only names we could come up with and were of questionable taste and all included the word “poop“.

Matty V called it…
15-year-old Canadian Sebastian Toutant has officially begun his rampage of the world snowboard competition circuit. This is what “Toots” has been up to as of late:
1) “dominated” the O’Neill Evolution Quarterpipe, with 7.4 meter airs (video)
2) 1st at the Burton European Open Junior Slopestyle;
3) ranked 1st for the Men’s Slopestyle at the BEO;
4) signed lucrative energy drink sponsorships.
…actually, I don’t think he has any energy drink sponsors yet. In fact, Seb is currently sponsored only by: O’Neill, Smith, and Universe Boardshop.
HINT, HINT, goddamn HINT.
