Sometimes, snowboarders get silly sponsors. And sometimes, sneaky snakes slither slyly. Sssssssss.

But sometimes snowboarders select sponsors smartly, such is the case here.

Ocean Beauty Seafoods, one of the largest seafood companies in the country, announces its sponsorship of Alaskan snowboarder Callan Chythlook-Sifsof, the 2007 National Snowboardcross (SBX) Champion and a 2010 Olympic hopeful. As part of the sponsorship, Chythlook-Sifsof will serve as an ambassador for Ocean Beauty and the sustainability and healthy attributes of wild Alaska salmon. She will appear in advertisements and speak to the benefits of a diet consisting of Alaska wild salmon. (full release)

Fish is great. So are fish sticks. This one is extra great. It has a face on it. The BBC thinks that it is Jesus. Why do folks think only biblical people show up on food? Nevertheless, fish sticks are tasty. (via BBC)

 It’s about time extremers get wise to the whole health thing. Enough with all the energy drink and silly clothing company sponsors. Protect them bones kids. It’s a mean world out there.
