Who wouldn’t want to watch thyself snowboard in 120 frames per second?  Who likes HD video on the internet?

For those of you who always keep one eye on the latest and greatest camera’s, you’ve heard about the series of RED by Jim Jannard.  Mr Oakley himself.  Some people struggle with drug abuse, driving over the speed limit, good grades in school and even eating healthy.  We struggle with this thing called the internet.  Something Al Gore invented? We just can’t seem to pry ourselves away from the web on dreary days!

We don’t claim to be experts, nor do we shoot or edit video or photos.  But how could not have appreciation for this machine.  Rather than rambling on with jargon you’ll be unfamiliar with, check this history of the Red camera and it’s affordability for the small  guys.  (with budgets of 20k or less….)

Whenever we stack up $3,500 for a weekly rental we’ll be headed straight to The Gambia to film tailblocks while high-fiving short necked giraffes. Hope to see more snow relating projects from 599!
