agr guide to election 2008, part 1

The action sports community is one that is inextricably tied to politics, and this election year it is critical that all you extreme folks make yr voice heard. We know that the current political environment is very confusing and intimidating: “Who practices voodoo? Which one of these yahoos fought a tiger bare-handed? Who is dropping a new album to coincide with Election Day?” Fear not, agr is here to tell you how to vote in November so you don’t have to think for yourself.

Skatedaily reports that Republican presidential candidateJohn McCain’s running mate Sarah Palin is not down with skaters. She supported penalties for using skateboards on public or private property as mayor of Wasilla, Alaska.

“ — after the expected opening of the $233,000 Wasilla Skate Park — skaters will be breaking the law if they use their skateboards, in-line skates, bicycles, scooters (or any other recreational, non-motorized wheeled device) on public or private property where signs are posted forbidding their use.”

Down with Palin!!!!  Not so hasty my kick-push compatriots. While Palin has supported penalizing skaters, notice how that she does not mention Heely’s! YES!!!! Oh damn, wait a minute. Maybe she did. Damn. Well we still have Soaps.
