We recently submitted an entry form to interview Shaun White about his new video game. Did we win? No.

But Michelle Zeller did.  We got the real story on what went down and what it took to be chosen by MTV to fly out to L.A. and interview Shaun White.

agr : So interviews and getting famous and stuff…when would work for you?
MZ : We can do the interview now.
agr : OK rad.123 go.
MZ: Haha.

agr : Michelle…how are you today?
MZ: I’m doing good, wishing I was still up at breck though.
agr : Is that so? What is the scene at Breck?
MZ : Hmm, well right now there’s tons of snow from the storm that just happened, but scene wise I guess there are a lot of pros, wannabe pros and pro hos. Haha.

agr : Sounds delightful. Where are you going to school and what are you studying?
MZ : I am currently going to the University of Colorado at Boulder, I’m majoring in Japanese and International Affairs.
agr : So you are going to take over the world that is cool. How do you say “poop” in Japanese?
MZ : “unko” or I guess you can say in English, “poo poo.”

agr : Haha! Awesome. This interview is so good right now. So you are doing some school, some snowboarding and some famous people stuff too, right? What was that famous thing that you just did?
MZ : I just won this contest for MTV.com and I got to interview Shaun White at his video game release party in Hollywood.

agr : No way! What did you have to do to win?
MZ : You had to write in 250 magical words why you should be chosen to interview Shaun White. Basically show that you know your video games and your snowboarding.

agr : Magical? What were some of these magical words? I bet they included “acorn, bumble bee, and fart”.
MZ : Hahaha nahh, just words that proved you were passionate about gaming and snow.

agr : Nice! So tell me the story about getting to interview Mr. White. Did you have to be searched by security? Did you have to bow before talking to him???
MZ : Haha noo, I was given this press pass by MTV and basically I just checked in with the door crew. I had a set time to interview Shaun during the party. The party had an open bar and I didn’t get to interview him until like 2 hours into the party so he was already wasted! (Shaun White wasted?????? Never seen it before…)

agr : Awesome, so you could pretty much ask him whatever?
MZ : Well I had to ask specifically about his video game for the interview, but afterwards I was able to ask him some questions of my own.
agr : Nice…do you want to talk about the video game stuff, or the gritty stuff?
MZ : Haha. I’m down for whatever

agr : Grit it is. What was the one question that you would like to have asked him, but might not have?
MZ : Haha. I really wanted to ask him if he hooked up with Lindsay Lohan but just couldn’t do it.
agr : WHOA! I hadn’t heard that. Do you think he did?
MZ : Knowing pros these days I think he def did.

agr : Enough talk about Mr. White. Let’s talk about Michelle. I heard that you ride powder better than Mr. White. True?
MZ : I wonder who you heard that from haha. Well I love shredding pow but I don’t know if I do it better than Mr. White.
agr : Park, pipe, powder or puppies?
MZ : Park!
agr : Poor puppies… Can you be a good student and a snowboarder?
MZ : Yes its possible, I always had good grades through high school while shredding a bunch and I have pretty good grades right now too.

agr : Good for you! What is your favorite snack?
MZ : Hmm my favorite snack has to be Japanese rice crackers
agr : That is the wrong answer, but that is ok. Whose hair is prettier: Shaun White, Lindsay Lohan, or agoodreed’s?
MZ : Ahha um agoodreeds.
agr : Right!

agr : What is the best snowboard video that you have seen this year?
MZ : “Thats it, Thats all!”
agr : That was the one with all the kids in tight pants right?
MZ : Nooooooooo! T-rice and Scotty Lago!
agr : Oh.
MZ : Haha
agr : Well that’s ok, that was last year anyway. What is going to be the “cool” thing in snowboarding this year? Capri pants? Tricks not on rails? Whirlybirds?
MZ : Definitely whirlybirds.
agr : Agreed.

agr : What is your favorite non-agoodreed website?

agr : Good answer.

MZ : Hahaha
agr : Good question. Do you plan on doing more interviews with snowboard goons?
MZ : I hope I’ll get to do more interviews for sure.
agr : What will you be doing in 3 years?
MZ : Hopefully competing in the Grand Prix for the 11-12 season to make the Olympic team for 2014.
agr : HELL YEA!That is the real deal…hey I have to go pick my mom up, she got lost in the city. Do you want to do more questions about snowboarding and stuff later?
MZ : Sounds good!
