The above snow demon is known as “Perchten,” a disciple the Slovenian goddess Frau Perchta or Pehta Baba. In addition to trying to nosepress everything in sight and smoking hand-rolled cigarettes, Perchten lurk around town to scare away evil spirits and stray dead souls. (via Dangerous Minds)
